The Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was presented with this California State Assembly resolution commemorating his 50th birthday in 1997. Abdul-Jabbar played much of his basketball career in Southern California, for the UCLA Bruins of the NCAA and the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers. This resolution has been signed by Diane E. Watson, Ph.D., a representative from the 26th Senatorial District. This item is displayed in a 17.5 x 20-inch frame, and it comes with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
