Easily the "key" entry in the unusual 1950 Topps Felt Backs production – and one of the most elusive and desirable of all vintage football cards – the offered piece depicts college coaching legend Joe Paterno in a very scarce early portrayal. The 7/8" x 1-3/8" collectible features a crisp image, a clean orange-and-ochre "Brown" felt college pennant design on the back, and acceptable degrees of natural edge, surface and corner wear. Very Good to Excellent condition.
