In 1969, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and the UCLA Bruins were presented with this State of California resolution honoring the Bruins for winning their third consecutive NCAA title. UCLA defeated the Purdue Boilermakers, the alma mater of UCLA head coach John Wooden, by a score of 92-72 in the title game, with Abdul-Jabbar pacing the team by scoring 37 points to go with 20 rebounds. This resolution was officially adopted on March 28th, 1969, and it measures 12.75 x 20 inches. This item comes with a signed LOA from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
