Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was awarded this California Legislature Resolution in commemoration of the UCLA Bruins 1968-69 basketball season. Abdul-Jabbar, in his final year of college ball, led the Bruins to their third straight NCAA title, triumphing over the Purdue Boilermakers 92-72. Abdul-Jabbar, then known as Lew Alcindor, scored 37 points in the title game to earn his third Final Four Most Outstanding Player trophy. This resolution is unframed and measures 12.5 x 20 inches. A gold seal is located on the bottom of this resolution. This item derives directly from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and a personally hand-signed LOA from Kareem will accompany this item.
