Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was presented with this Look Magazine Basketball Writers Association All-America Team certificate for his play with the University of California, Los Angeles Bruins during the 1966-67 NCAA Basketball season. Abdul-Jabbar, known then as Lew Alcindor, was in his first season playing with the UCLA varsity squad, leading the Bruins to the first of three consecutive national titles while averaging an incredible 29 points and 15.5 rebounds per game. This certificate measures 14 x 11 inches and is printed with “The 1967 Look Magazine Basketball Writers Association All America Team” and “Lew Alcindor / UCLA”. This certificate has been signed by the Look magazine sports editor. This item derives directly from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and a personally hand-signed LOA from Kareem will accompany this item.
