The Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has signed this Sport magazine cover from January of 1983. Abdul-Jabbar was a star for the Lakers at the time, leading Los Angeles in points per game with 21.8. The Lakers advanced to the NBA Finals in 1983, where they would eventually fall to the Philadelphia 76ers. This issue of Sport was dedicated to “Fearless Predictions”, one of which was “Kareem says bye to Tinseltown, to save the Knicks and Hubie Brown”. Abdul-Jabbar has signed this magazine cover in blue marker. This item comes with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
