The Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has signed this Sports Illustrated cover from May 9th, 1983. The title of this issue was “The Kareem Also Rises…” and it was released after Abdul-Jabbar led the Lakers to a five-game defeat of the Portland Trail Blazers in the 1983 Western Conference Semifinals. Abdul-Jabbar led Los Angeles in points (30.8) and rebounds (8.0) during the series, which was capped off by a 116-108 Lakers victory at The Forum. Abdul-Jabbar has signed this magazine cover in silver marker. This magazine cover comes with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
