The Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has signed the cover of this issue of Sports Illustrated magazine from February 14th, 1977. Abdul-Jabbar was unstoppable during the 1976-77 season, scoring 26.2 points per game with 13.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 3.2 blocks per contest. The former UCLA star was named the NBA MVP for the 1976-77 campaign, while also making the All-NBA First Team and the All-Defensive Second Team. Abdul-Jabbar has signed the front cover of this issue of Sports Illustrated in black marker. Please note that the cover is not attached to the interior contents of the magazine. This item comes with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
