Kareem Abdul-Jabbar played his final NBA season in 1988-89 after a historic and illustrious 20-season NBA career for the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers. Abdul-Jabbar finished his career as the all-time points leader in NBA history, with over 38,000 points, and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1995. Offered here is an issue of Sports Illustrated from January 23rd, 1989, featuring Abdul-Jabbar as the cover star. Abdul-Jabbar has signed the cover of this magazine, titled “Kareem’s Last Stand”, in silver marker over his right arm. This magazine comes with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
