Kareem Abdul-Jabbar won his fourth NBA Finals, and third with the Los Angeles Lakers, at the end of the 1984-85 season. Abdul-Jabbar torched the Boston Celtics in a six-game Finals, scoring 25.7 points with 9 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game, as he earned his second career Finals MVP award. Offered here are two issues of Sports Illustrated magazine from June 17th, 1985 featuring Abdul-Jabbar as the cover star. The title of this issue is “King of the Court: Kareem Leads Los Angeles to the NBA Championship”. Abdul-Jabbar has signed the cover of both magazines, signing one in black marker and one in silver marker. These magazines are in good condition, and they are accompanied by a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar himself.
