This jersey is indeed a 1989 All-Star jersey and was incorrectly identified in the print catalog as a 1984 All-Star Uniform

The Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar wore this jersey during the 1989 NBA All-Star Game at Houston’s Astrodome on February 12th, 1989. The host Western Conference prevailed over the Eastern Conference, winning in 143-134. This was Kareem's 19th and final all-star game of his illustrious career and Abdul-Jabbar played 13 minutes, scoring four points with three rebounds and two blocks. Abdul-Jabbar’s coach with the Lakers, Pat Riley, helmed the Western Conference team while Lenny Wilkens led the East.

Abdul-Jabbar had a solid season to close out his career in 1988-89, starting 74 games for the 57-25 Lakers and averaging 10.1 points per game at the age of 41. The former UCLA star added 4.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game for the Lakers, who would go on to the NBA Finals before losing to the Detroit Pistons. Abdul-Jabbar retired as the NBA's all-time leading scorer, a record in which he still holds toady and he would be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1995.

The white jersey has “NBA All-Star” screen-printed on the chest in red and blue lettering, while Abdul-Jabbar’s number “33” is screen-printed on the front and back in blue. “ABDUL-JABBAR” is also screen-printed across the back shoulders in blue lettering. An NBA logo is applied to the chest of the jersey and an NBA logo patch is sewn on the upper left shoulder. Six alternating red and blue stars are screen-printed down each side of the jersey. A MacGregor Sand-Knit size “44” tag is sewn on the front left tail. Abdul-Jabbar has signed the chest of the jersey in black marker.
