Led by the fearsome “Monsters of the Midway” defense, the 1985 Chicago Bears stormed to a 15-1 regular season record that preceded an absolutely dominant playoff run. The Bears defeated the New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams in the first two rounds by a combined score of 45-0 before humiliating the New England Patriots 46-10 in Super Bowl XX.
This plaque was awarded to Hall of Fame linebacker Mike Singletary, the anchor of the Bears defense and the 1985 Defensive Player of the Year. This plaque measures 16 x 12 inches and commemorates the Bears Super Bowl XX title with two smaller metal plaques. A small abrasion is present on the left side of this plaque, however it still presents beautifully. This item comes with a LOA from Mike Singletary.
