Offered here is a 1967 Boston Red Sox “Impossible Dream” team signed poster and presentational 1967 World Series plate originating from the personal collection of Hall of Fame second baseman Bobby Doerr. The poster has been signed by the Hall of Famers Doerr, Carl Yastrzemski, and Dick Williams, as well as Eddie Popowski, Gary Waslewski, Rico Petrocelli, Sparky Lyle, Norm Siebern, Gary Bell, and several others. The signatures have been written in blue marker. The plate in this lot is silver and etched with “1967 World Series Boston Red Sox vs St. Louis Cardinals” and “Chrysler Corporation”. It measures 13.5 inches in diameter while the poster measures 14 x 26 inches. This item comes with a LOA from the Doerr family.
