It was in spring training with the Angels that Shohei Ohtani began revealing the prodigious talent that made him a star in Japan. During the March 14th, 2018 Cactus League games, Ohtani shattered this Goldstage Tamo model bat off Cleveland Indians pitcher and former Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber. The bat shows light use with a handle crack. The barrel shows some ball marks and abrasions from contact with other equipment. This bat comes with a handwritten batboy LOA and a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13745) for the game use. There are also photographs from the March 14th game that appear to match this offered bat.
