Hank Aaron used this bat during the final two summers of his Hall of Fame career. 1974 was Aaron’s last season with the Braves, during which he hit his 733rd home run as a member of the Braves organization. Aaron went back to Milwaukee, the city where he hit most of his record setting home runs, for what would be the final season of his career. As a member of the Brewers, Aaron broke another Babe Ruth record, this time it was the Bambino’s career RBI total of 2,213. On July 20, 1976, Aaron hit home run 755 of Dick Drago of the Angels and set a record that would stand until 2007. This Hillerich & Bradsby A99 model bat shows light use and is un-cracked. There are several ball marks visible on the barrel and a light coat of pine tar on the upper handle. Aaron’s number “44” is handwritten in black marker on the knob and top barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13732) for the game use.
