New York Yankees reliever Dellin Betances wore this gray road jersey during the Yankees 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on September 14th, 2017 at Tropicana Field. Betances pitched a scoreless eighth inning in relief of starter Brandon McCarthy, striking out two batters and lowering his season ERA to 1.33. This gray road jersey has “NEW YORK” sewn across the chest in navy and white tackle twill. Betance’s number “68”, chosen by the hurler to match his listed height of 6’8”, is sewn on the back of the jersey in navy and white tackle twill. A MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar. The underarm areas of this jersey are made of a gray mesh fabric. A Majestic size “52” tag is applied to the front left tail of this jersey.
