Founded in 1945, the Venezuelan League is a professional baseball league based in Venezuela and known in Spanish as Liga Venezolana de Beisbol Profesional (LVBP). The very popular LVBP is full of history, and the league’s champion represents the nation in the Caribbean Series, which it has won seven times (the last coming in 2009).

Presented here is a 1979 Caracas, Venezuela Baseball League All-Star Game sterling silver ring, which features a baseball hologram under a light-orange center stone. “XIV JUEGO DE ESTRELLAS A.U.P.P.V” reads around the bezel setting. One side of the ring displays the number “19” above a designed shield, while centering the opposite side is a crossed-bats and baseball design, along with a handshake. The number “79” appears at the top. The inside of the band – which shows wear – is engraved “S A”, for perennial All-Star Sam Ayoub. This ring weighs approximately 22.4 grams and is an approximate size 10. This ring comes with the consignor's purchase LOA.
