The designer Jeff Hamilton has been a fixture in the NBA and streetwear scene since the 1980s thanks to his eye-catching leather jackets. Here, Hamilton diverges from his traditional medium to create a series of customized Kobe Bryant jerseys in collaboration with street artists. This jersey is adorned with “King Kobe” artwork, taking the form of two glowering portraits of the Black Mamba on the front and back of the jersey. Hamilton has added his signature flair to this jersey in the form of purple reptile-skin side panels and a similar collar. “LAKERS” is sewn on the chest of this jersey in the same purple reptile-skin material over white tackle twill. Bryant’s number “24” is sewn on the chest and back in white reptile-skin over purple and white tackle twill. “BRYANT” is sewn across the back shoulders in purple reptile-skin over white tackle twill.
