Signatures include the Hall of Famers Branch Rickey, Joe DiMaggio, Ty Cobb, Connie Mack, Bill McKechnie, Casey Stengel, Bill Terry, Rube Marquard, Kiki Cuyler, Burleigh Grimes, Lou Boudreau, Rabbit Maranville, Red Rolfe, Joe Cronin, Eddie Collins, Phil Rizzuto, Yogi Berra, and Johnny Mize. Other signatures include Gil Hodges, Cy Barger, Chief Myers, Hi Myers, Gus Getz, Otto Miller, Wheezer Dell, Jeff Pfeffer, Charlie Berry, Bump Hadley, Earl Torgeson, Jim Turner, Eddie Farrell, Muddy Ruel, Van Mungo, Frank Crosetti, Pete Sheehy, Tom Henrich, Charlie Keller, Joe Page, Jerry Coleman, Bobby Brown, Vic Raschi, Tommy Byrne, Cliff Mapes, Hank Bauer, Bill Johnson, Ed Lopat, Allie Reynolds, George Stirnweiss, Fred Sanford, Gus Niarhos, Charlie Silvera, Gene Woodling, Ralph Houk, Ralph Buxton, Duane Pillette, Clarence Marshall, Jake Pittler, Burt Shotton, Rex Barney, Billy Cox, Ralph Branca, Joe Hatten, Don Newcombe, Paul Minner, Spud Chandler, and several more. The signatures from contemporary Yankee players contain inscriptions made out to “Bert”, the Yankees bat boy at the time and, judging by the heartfelt inscriptions, a favorite of the Yankee players.
