Offered here are three baseballs signed by noteworthy women in baseball originating from the personal collection of Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer Bobby Doerr. The first two baseballs, a Red Sox branded ball and a Dudley Official League ball, have been signed by Jean Yawkey in black pen. The third baseball has been signed by nine legendary members of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Sophie Kurys has signed the sweet spot, while other signatures include Ruth Richard, Alice “Lefty” Hohlmayer, Maddy English, Inez “Lefty” Voyce, Marge Wenzell, Lavonne “Pepper” Paire Davis, Dottie Kamenshek, and Anita Foss. This lot has been pre-certified by PSA/DNA and is accompanied by a LOA from the Doerr family.
