The designer Jeff Hamilton has been a fixture in the NBA and streetwear scene since the 1980s thanks to his eye-catching leather jackets. Here, Hamilton diverges from his traditional medium to create a series of customized Kobe Bryant jerseys in collaboration with street artists. This jersey has a “Purple Rainmakers” theme, with an image of Prince on the chest and “Prince Forever” applied to the front tail of the jersey. The back of the jersey features two Prince guitars. “KOBE” is sewn across the back shoulders in gold and purple. Bryant’s number “8” is sewn on the back of the jersey in purple and yellow leather. An “8” is sewn on the chest in pink and metallic gold leather below “LAKERS, sewn on the chest in metallic purple and yellow.
