San Antonio Spurs star Tim Duncan wore this red Western Conference uniform during the 2003 All-Star Game. Duncan started this game and played 40 minutes, scoring 19 points and wrangling a game-high 15 rebounds. The Western Conference won this game in double overtime by a score of 155-145 in Michael Jordan’s final All-Star Game.

Duncan had an incredible 2002-03 season, winning his first MVP trophy and leading the Spurs to their first title of the Duncan/Popovich era. Duncan, the 2003 Finals MVP, contributed 23.3 points, 12.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.9 blocks per game for the 60-22 Spurs.  

This red Western Conference jersey has “NBA ALL-STAR” sewn on the chest in white and blue tackle twill. Duncan’s number “21” is sewn on the chest and back in white tackle twill. Two NBA logo patches are sewn on the chest of this jersey. “DUNCAN” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill below a Spurs logo patch. Six white and blue stars are screen printed on each side of the jersey. A Hardwood Classics 1987-88 tag and a All-Star Game size “52” tag are sewn on the front left tail. These uniforms were modeled after the uniforms worn during the 1988 All-Star Game, Michael Jordan’s first, to honor the retiring superstar.

Also included in this lot are a pair of red shorts from the All-Star Game. The shorts have “WEST” sewn on each leg in white and blue tackle twill, with two screen printed white and blue stars on either side of the Wests. The legs and waist are accented with a white-blue-white stripe. An All-Star Game tag with attached size “46”, “+1 Inseam”, and “+1 Rise” flags is sewn on the back inside waistband. This uniform comes with a LOA from game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for the jersey.
