In what was the final season of Hall of Famer Michael Strahan’s career in 2007, the defensive end helped lead the New York Giants to a Wild Card spot that ultimately led to an improbable run to victory in Super Bowl XLII over the previously undefeated New England Patriots. Strahan recorded nine sacks and 45 tackles as Big Blue finished with a 10-6 regular season record.
Strahan wore this size 42 Reebok New York Giants road jersey during his final season in the NFL. This jersey shows excellent game use and features Strahan’s number “92” sewn on in red tackle twill on the front, back and shoulders. The shortened and tailored sleeves have three red stripes screen printed and each sleeve also has a red and white Reebok logo patch. The NFL Equipment logo is sewn on the base of the v-neck collar and the a captain’s “C” patch with four stars (one star yellow, three stars white) on the upper right chest. The Giants “NY” is embroidered in red above the number and below the NFL Equipment patch on the front and the team strip tag that reads “07-42” is sewn on the inside back collar. “STRAHAN” is sewn on in red tackle twill on a matching white name plate above the number on the back of the jersey. Strahan signed his name in black marker vertically on the “9” on the front of the jersey and inscribed “92”. Strahan also signed his name vertically on the “9” on the back of the jersey and inscribed “92” and “SB XLII Champs” and also inscribed “Game Used!” on the “2” on the back of the jersey. This jersey comes with a LOA from Michael Strahan, who authenticates that he wore this jersey during the 2007 season.
