Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton wore this gray Rangers road jersey during the 2011 regular season and postseason. Hamilton first wore this jersey on August 11th, during the Rangers 7-4 victory over the Chicago White Sox. Hamilton went 1-3 with a solo home run off Jake Peavy in this game. The homer was Hamilton’s 16th of the season, and the 109th of his career. Hamilton next wore this jersey on October 4th, for the clinching fourth game of the 2011 American League Division Series against the Tampa Bay Rays. Hamilton went hitless in this game, a 4-3 Rangers victory under the dome at Tropicana Field. Hamilton also wore this jersey during Games 4 and 5 of the American League Championship Series against the Detroit Tigers.

Hamilton doubled in the 11th inning of Game 4, scoring a few plays later to break a 3-3 tie in a game eventually won 7-3 by the Rangers in 11 at Comerica Park. In Game 5, a 7-5 Tigers victory, Hamilton collected two hits, including a double and a single, as well as an RBI sacrifice fly. Hamilton finished the game with two RBI and a run scored. The Rangers won this series in six before falling in a classic seven-game World Series to the St. Louis Cardinals.

This button-down road jersey has “TEXAS” sewn across the chest in blue, red, white, and black tackle twill. “HAMILTON” and his number “32” are sewn on the back of this jersey in blue, white, red, and black tackle twill. A MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar. A Texas flag patch is sewn on the left sleeve. Please note that this jersey has a 2011 World Series patch sewn on the right sleeve, possibly indicating that this jersey was prepped for or worn during the World Series, however we are not able to confirm that this jersey was worn during the Fall Classic.
