The beloved crooner Bing Crosby has signed this typed letter. The letter is dated to March 8th, 1951, shortly before Crosby’s 48th birthday. Crosby addressed this letter to a “Mrs. Chapman”, typing “Many thanks for the generous support tendered our twentieth anniversary celebration. The studio tells me it was immensely successful. Your Friend, Bing Crosby”. Crosby has signed the letter in black pen as “Bing”. This letter is matted in a 20 x 14.5-inch display next to a photograph of Crosby. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A69265).

Also included in this lot is a framed typed and signed letter from Katharine Hepburn on official “Katharine Houghton Hepburn” stationary. This letter, dated to August 15th, 1984, reads “Dear Mr. and Mr. Genovese / I am returning your picture as I have made it a rule not to send or sign photographs except for personal friends – I am sorry / Thank you for your nice letter”. Hepburn has signed this letter in black pen. This letter is displayed next to a photograph of Hepburn in an 18 x 13-inch frame. It comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A69280).
