St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer Frank Frisch has signed this 2.5 x 4.5-inch cut. Frisch, the 1931 National League MVP, played 19 seasons in the Major Leagues from 1919 to 1937. Frisch served as a player-manager for the 1934 “Gashouse Gang” St. Louis Cardinals, leading the Senior Circuit franchise to a seminal seven-game World Series victory against Mickey Cochrane and the Detroit Tigers. Frisch, a two-time All-Star, was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1947. Frisch has signed this cut in blue pen, inscribing “The Old Flash” above his signature. This cut is displayed below a 11 x 14 inch black and white photograph of Frisch. The cut and photograph are displayed in a 16.5 x 21.5-inch frame.
