This base was used as third base during the fourth through sixth innings of the New York Mets 7-6 victory over the New York Yankees at Shea Stadium. The Mets lit up Randy Johnson, the Yankees starter, tagging the future Hall of Famer with six earned runs in five innings. The game was tied 6-6 in the bottom of the ninth, with Mets All-Star third baseman David Wright cracking a walk off single off Mariano Rivera to win the game for New York’s Senior Circuit ballclub. Wright has signed the top of this base in blue marker, writing “Walk off vs Yankees 5/19/06 off Mariano Rivera”. This bat comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (BB 067323) and a Steiner Sports hologram.
