Offered here is a collection of four New York Mets hats worn during the 2006 National League Championship Series against the St. Louis Cardinals. These caps are all black with a blue brim and the Mets interlocking “NY” logo sewn on the front in blue and orange lettering. The first cap was worn by Michael Tucker. This cap has Tucker’s number “22” written on the inside in black marker and is a size 7 ¼. The second cap was worn by Manny Acta. This cap has Acta’s number “3” written on the inside in black marker and is a size 7 ¼. The third cap was worn by Roberto Hernandez. His number “39” and “Ovelio” are written inside the cap, while “Ivonne / Kairy / Jaly Jr / Jose” and “Hit the Glove” are written on the underside of the brim in black marker. The fourth and final cap was worn by Darren Oliver. This cap is a size 7 ½ with Oliver’s number “27” written inside the cap in black marker. The Tucker, Hernandez and Acta caps come with individual LOAs from Mets-Steiner Collectibles, while the Oliver cap comes with a LOA from Steiner Sports.
