Offered here is a pair of postseason game used bases from New York Mets games. The first base in this lot was used as third base during Game 2 of the 2000 National League Championship Series between the Mets and the St. Louis Cardinals. The Mets won this game 6-5 after scoring three runs in the eighth and ninth innings. New York advanced to the World Series after dispatching the Cardinals in a five-game series. This base has NLCS logo placards affixed to two sides of the item. It is accompanied by a MLB Authenticated hologram (00000918).
The second base in this lot was used during Game 3 of the 2006 National League Division Series between the Mets and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Mets clinched a three-game sweep with a 9-5 victory at Dodger Stadium. Shawn Green and Paul Lo Duca chipped in two RBI apiece as Pedro Feliciano earned his first win of the 2006 Postseason. This base has NLDS logo placards affixed to two sides of the base. It is accompanied by a MLB Authenticated hologram (BB 155802).
