Manfred Jr. baseball for an RBI single during the Red Sox game against the Milwaukee Brewers on May 10th, 2017 at Miller Park. Betts hit this single off Brewers starter Chase Anderson in the top of the fourth inning, with Betts advancing to second base on the throw. This game finished 7-4 in favor of the home team. Betts, an All-Star in 2017, finished the season with 24 homers, 102 RBI, and 26 stolen bases. Before this ball was pitched to Betts, Anderson struck out Red Sox starter Kyle Kendrick on three consecutive pitches in the final at-bat of Kendrick’s MLB career.
