Torres, traded to the Yankees for Aroldis Chapman in 2016, made his MLB debut in 2018. Torres was named to the 2018 American League All-Star team, finishing the season with 24 homers, 77 RBI, and a healthy .271 batting average.
This gray, button-down road jersey has “Myrtle Beach” sewn across the chest in blue, navy, and yellow tackle twill. Torres’ number “1” is sewn on the chest and back in blue and yellow tackle twill. A Myrtle Beach logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve, while the right sleeve has a Cubs logo patch sewn to the jersey. A Rawlings tag is sewn on the front left tail while a Rawlings size “44” flag is attached to the back inside collar. A MiLB patch is sewn on the back outside collar. This jersey comes with a COA from the Pelicans stating that is was worn in 2011 by Andres James, in 2013 by Chris Grayson, in 2014 by Nick Williams and Michael De Leon, and in 2015 by Torres and Carlos Penalver.
