Offered in this lot are five game used bats. The first bat was used by former American League MVP and Rookie of the Year Fred Lynn. Lynn used this Adirondack DD26 model bat during the 1981 season. This bat displays outstanding use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks and blue bat rack streaks present on the barrel. The handle has been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip. Lynn’s number “8” is hand written on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15193) and has been graded a solid GU 8.5. The next bat in this lot was used by Jeff Torborg during the 1973-75 seasons. Torborg’s Hillerich & Bradsby W240 bat displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. There is a heavy coating of pine tar on the handle and the barrel has ball marks. “11” is hand written in black marker on the knob. Torborg’s last season was 1973 and he wore the number “10”. The number “11” was worn by teammate John Stephenson. This bat has been signed by Torborg in black marker on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15715) for the game use and a LOA from JSA (Z87959) for his signature.

The third bat in this lot was used by Vic Power during the 1964-65 seasons. Power’s Hillerich & Bradsby P100 model bat displays excellent use and is un-cracked. The handle has been taped with a single tape ring, but the ring has been removed. There are ball marks, along with red and green bat rack streaks present on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15354) and has been graded a solid GU 8. The next bat in this lot was used by Frank Malzone during the 1966 season. Malzone’s Hillerch & Bradsby S2 model bat displays excellent use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and green bat rack streaks present on the barrel. Mazone’s number “15” is hand written on the knob in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12821). The final bat in this lot is Mike Epstein’s Hillerich & Bradsby bat he used during the 1973-75 seasons. This E40 model displays moderate game use with a crack in the handle that has been repaired with six nails. There are ball marks, stitch marks and blue bat rack streaks present on the barrel and handle. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12807).
