Offered in this lot are four game used bats. The first bat was used by Del Ennis during the 1957 season. Ennis’ Hillerich & Bradsby U1 model bat displays outstanding use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks, cleat imprints and red and green bat rack streaks present on the barrel. Ennis’ number “7” is hand written in black marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14946) and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9. The next bat in this lot was used by Alvin Dark during the 1959-60 seasons. Dark’s Hillerich & Bradsby S2 model bat displays light game use and has a crack in the handle that has been repaired. There are ball marks on the barrel and tape residue visible on the handle. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B1281).

The final two bats in this lot were used by Clete Boyer. The first of Boyer’s bats is an Adirondack 63A model bat that was used by Boyer during the 1968-70 seasons. This bat displays moderate game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and green and red bat rack streaks present on the barrel. Boyer’s number “6” is hand written on the knob in black marker. This bat comes with LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14998). The second Boyer bat was used during the 1968-70 seasons, displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks and bat rack streaks present on the barrel. Boyer’s number “6” is hand written in black marker on the knob and Boyer has signed the barrel in black marker with the inscription “My Game Used Bat 3rd Base #6”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B1395) for the game use and a LOA from JSA (Z87950) for the signature.
