Offered in this lot are five game used bat. The first bat was used by Bob Boone during the circa 1969-70 seasons. Boone’s Hillerich & Bradsby R43 model bat displays excellent game use and has a slight crack on the handle. There are ball marks and slight checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact on the barrel. There is a coating of pine tar on the upper handle. The model number “R43” has been stamped on the knob and “Rocky” is hand written in black marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12806). The second bat in this lot was used by Hall of Famer Tony Perez during the 1983 season. Perez’s Louisville Slugger R43 model bat displays outstanding use with a crack on the handle. There are ball marks, stitch impressions, blue ink transfers and bat rack streaks present on the barrel. Perez’s number “24” has been hand written on the knob and Perez signed his name on the barrel in black marker and inscribed “HOF 2000 Gamer”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B141740) for the game use. Perez's signature has been pre-certfied by Beckett Authentication Services.
The next bat in this lot is a Factory Side Written bat used by L. Raymond during the 1916-22 seasons. This Hillerich & Bradsby Pre-Model bat displays heavy use and has a crack on the handle. There is checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact on the barrel, which has been repaired by nails. The right barrel has been sanded and planed to receive the factory side writing “’34/36 L. Raymond Richmond BBC”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12936). The next bat in this lot was used by Curt Walker during the 1922-25 seasons. This Hillerich & Bradsby Pre-Model is un-cracked. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12935).
The final bat in this lot is a Louisville Slugger K100 Fungo bat used by former pitcher Tug McGraw. McGraw used this Fungo bat during the 1980-83 seasons and display heavy use. This Fungo bat is un-cracked and there are ball marks and black ink transfers present on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15391).
