This Official American League William Harridge baseball has been signed by 17 members of the 1933 American League champion Washington Senators. Led by the 26-year old player-manager Joe Cronin, the Senators went 99-53 to claim the American League flag by seven games over the New York Yankees. Earl Whitehill and the Hall of Famer Heinie Manush have signed the sweet spot, while additional signatures include the Hall of Famers Goose Goslin and Joe Cronin, as well as General Crowder, Cliff Bolton, Luke Sewell, Bob Boken, Fred Schulte, John Kerr, Dave Harris, Jack Russell, Buddy Myer, Monte Weaver, and several others. This ball has been shellacked, and it is accompanied by a program from a Senators dinner on September 25th, 1933. The signatures on the baseball have been written in black pen. This ball comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A69284).
