Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo wore this blue Cubs batting helmet on June 8th, 2013 during the Cubs 6-2 home loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Rizzo, in his first season as a full-time starter for Chicago, finished the game 1-3 with a walk and a run scored. The Florida native had a breakout year in 2013, hitting 23 homers with 80 RBI and 40 doubles. This helmet has the Cubs “C” logo applied to the front. The helmet is monochrome blue with a flap over the right ear. Please note that the padding on the ear flap is missing, however the remaining interior padding is intact. Rizzo’s number “44” and a MLB logo are applied to the back. The top of the helmet features several cracks, and several small cracks are located on the back and sides of the helmet. This size 7 ½ helmet comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 404889) dating it to the June 8th contest.
