Long before the famous error in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series, Bill Buckner came up through the Los Angeles Dodgers organization and spent the six full seasons of his career in Dodger blue. Buckner would then move on to the Chicago Cubs where he won the National League batting title in 1980 and finished his career with 2,715 hits. During the 1973-75 seasons, Buckner had a combined average of .284. This offered Hillerich & Bradsby K55 model bat was used by Buckner during the 1973-75 seasons. This bat displays outstanding use and has a slight crack on the handle. The knob has a small chip and Buckner’s number “22” is hand written on the knob end. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and cleat imprints present on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13767) for the game use.
