Head coach Tom Landry guided the Dallas Cowboys to a 10-4 record during the 1975 regular season. QB Roger Staubach, the face of the team, threw for 2,666 yards while running for 316 yards (5.7 yards per carry) and four touchdowns. WR Drew Pearson averaged 17.9 yards per reception, with eight TDs, and Robert Newhouse led the team in rushing with 930 yards. Defensively, Lee Roy Jordan recorded a team-high six interceptions. The Cowboys would defeat the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams in the playoffs to win the NFC championship, before losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl X.

Presented here is a 1975 Dallas Cowboys NFC championship salesman sample ring, manufactured by Balfour. Featuring the team’s famed star logo, compromised of CZs and set on a larger blue stone, “DALLAS COWBOYS 1975” reads around the bezel setting. The left side of the ring is centered by an image of a team helmet (complete with the star in blue), with the name “STAUBACH” above and an image of Texas Stadium below. A depiction of the Lombardi Trophy - over the NFL logo - centers the opposite shank, with “NFC CHAMPIONS” reading at the top and “SUPER BOWL X” at the bottom. The inside of the band is marked “LGB BKC” and includes the salesman inventory number. This ring is an approximate size 12 and weighs approximately 27.1 grams.
