Hall of Famer Brett Favre resurrected a dormant Green Bay Packers’ franchise when the quarterback from Southern Mississippi led the Pack to a victory in Super Bowl XXXI over the New England Patriots. The following season in 1997, Favre led the NFL in touchdown passes with 35 as he led the Packers to a second consecutive Super Bowl, only falling to the valiant play of John Elway and the Denver Broncos.

Offered is a jersey worn by Favre during the 1997 season. This dark green Nike size 52 mesh Packers jersey features Favre’s number “4” sewn on in white tackle twill on the front, back and shoulders. “FAVRE” is sewn on in white tackle twill on a matching dark green name plate on the back. The sleeves have yellow and white striping screen-printed on the sleeve ends and the v-neck collar has a ribbed yellow/green/white/green/yellow pattern with the NFL logo patch sewn at the base. The Nike swoosh is embroidered on each sleeve and a Nike Pro Line tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail. There is a team tag on the inside back collar that reads “97-52”. This jersey displays light use and comes with a LOA from the Green Bay Packers.
