Notre Dame Fighting Irish head coach Bob Davie has signed this gold Notre Dame football helmet and inscribed a personal message to legendary broadcaster Dick Enberg, the original owner and recipient of this stunning helmet. Davie coached Notre Dame from 1997 to 2001, becoming the first Notre Dame assistant to take the top job since 1954. Davie led the Fighting Irish to a 35-25 record and their first Bowl Championship Series appearance in school history during his tenure in South Bend. Davie has signed this helmet in black marker and inscribed “To Dick Enberg / You are first class in everything you do! I’m glad I know you and thanks for your support – Go Irish”. After his signature, Davie inscribed “ND 99”. This helmet comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication Services (F63880) and a LOA from the Enberg family.
