Offered here is a collection of four home plates used during New York Mets games in the late 2000’s. The first base was used at Shea Stadium on May 7th, 2006 when the Atlanta Braves came to Queens. The Braves beat the Mets 13-3 in this contest, however Mets outfielder Carlos Beltran hit the 170th homer of his career during the game. This home plate comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (BB 067276). The second home plate was used on June 15th, 2008, for the second game of a double header between the Mets and the Texas Rangers at Shea. The Mets won this game 4-2 behind an excellent pitching performance from the Hall of Fame ace Pedro Martinez and a two-RBI night from Robinson Cancel. This home plate comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 050065).
The third home plate was used on April 28th, during a Los Angeles Dodgers visit to Citi Field. The Mets beat the Dodgers 7-3 behind Jeff Francoeur and Angel Pagan’s two RBI apiece. This home plate comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 881544). The final home plate in this lot was used beginning on May 27th, 2010 until June 24th. This plate comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 949882).
