The 1992 Dallas Cowboys were an incredibly talented and well-balanced team, finishing second in the NFL in points scored and fifth in points allowed.  This resulted in a 13-3 regular season record, tops in the NFC East. Running back Emmitt Smith rushed for 1,713 yards and 18 touchdowns, while wide receiver Michael Irvin recorded 78 receptions for 1,396 yards and seven TDs. QB Troy Aikman threw for 3,445 yards and 23 TDs. Dallas dominated throughout the playoffs, starting with a 34-10 defeat of the Philadelphia Eagles followed by a 30-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers – who finished the regular season 14-2 – to win the NFC Championship Game. The Cowboys capped their season with a 52-17 blowout of the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVII.

Offered here is a Balfour 10K gold 1992 Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl XXVII champions player ring that was presented to Dixon Edwards, a linebacker who appeared in all 16 games for the Cowboys during the season.  The center features the Cowboys famed star - highlighted in blue - with a larger, star-shaped diamond fitting inside. Surrounding it are many smaller diamonds, forming the shape of a football. “DALLAS COWBOYS” appears in relief work around the outside along with additional diamonds. Centering one side is an enamel-filled NFL logo, flanked by the Cowboys overall record of 16-3. The name “EDWARDS” appears at the top with his position “LB” and number “58” below. The opposite side of the band displays “WORLD CHAMPIONS 1992” above the Super Bowl XXVII logo and final score. “LGB 10K” is marked inside the band of this approximate size 11 ½ ring, with the weight being an approximate 40.1 grams. This ring comes with the original wooden, oval-shaped presentation box which displays the Cowboys helmet and reads “DALLAS COWBOYS SUPER BOWL XXVII CHAMPIONS”. This ring is in excellent condition, one of the finest 1992 Dallas Cowboys rings to come to up for sale and it comes with a LOA from Dixon Edwards.
