Offered here is an incredibly rare dual-signed Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig signed baseball. The duo are synonymous with the dominance of the 1920’s and 1930’s New York Yankees, who appeared in five World Series and winning three while they were both wearing pinstripes, establishing the franchise on the record-setting title course and cementing the franchise’s success for years to come. Many baseballs come through the hobby that feature both Ruth and Gehrig. However, unlike many of the other exemplars that hit the market, this one has Gehrig’s signature on the sweet spot and Ruth’s on the adjacent side panel – a true rarity in the collector’s world. Both signatures have been penned in blue ink and appear light but still very readable. The ball has been stamped “OFFICIAL LEAGUE SPECIAL Cork Center” and was manufactured by Spalding. This baseball displays moderate toning and has staining present. This comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AE00558).
