When basketball fans think of Alex English, they think of a player who was incredibly skilled at putting the ball through the hoop. Over his 15-year NBA career (11 of them spent starring for the Denver Nuggets), English scored a whopping 25,613 points. He finished in the league’s top-five in scoring for six consecutive seasons (1981-82 through 1986-87), including leading the NBA in scoring during the 1982-83 season with an average of 28.4 points per game. English, who was named an All-Star for eight straight seasons in the 1980s, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1997.
