Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu wore this black Steelers home jersey during the 2004 NFL season. Polamalu, in his second year in the league, started all 16 games for the Steelers, finishing the year with 96 tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble. The former USC standout recorded five interceptions, returning one for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of the Steelers 28-17 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4. Polamalu would go on to play all 12 of his NFL seasons in the Steel City, leading Pittsburgh to two Super Bowl titles while making eight Pro Bowls, four First Team All-Pro selections, and the 2010 AP Defensive Player of the Year award.

This black Steelers home jersey has Polamalu’s number “43” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in white tackle twill. “POLAMALU” is sewn across the back shoulders in yellow tackle twill over a matching yellow nameplate. A Steelers logo is sewn on the chest and Reebok logo patches are sewn on each sleeve. An “04-44” tag is sewn on the back inside collar. Polamalu has signed the “4” digit on the back of the jersey in black marker. This jersey shows light to moderate wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for the game use and a LOA from JSA for Polamalu’s signature (Z87948).
