Presented is a 66-card complete set of "Elvis Presley" non-sports cards issued in 1956. Elvis brought his unique style of R&B music into the homes of mainstream America in the mid-1950s, and the culture hasn't been the same since. As popular today as he was 50 years ago, Elvis inspired generations of musicians and fans, not to mention collectors of trading cards. The offered set, released by Topps under its "Bubbles, Inc." pseudonym, is noted for its colorful depictions of "The King." In addition, cardback write-ups gave young Americans insight about their idol's personal preferences, as well as his movies. Highlights include: #'s 1 "Go, Go, Go, Elvis" (EX/MT), 2 Checklist (EX) and 66 "Go Back to Vance" (VG/EX). Grades 3% NM, 56% EX to EX/MT, 41% VG to VG/EX (including some lesser).
