Albert Pujols followed his 2001 Rookie of the Year season with an almost equally impressive 2002 campaign, knocking 34 home runs with 127 RBI and a .314 batting average, finishing second to Barry Bonds in NL MVP voting. Pujols used this Louisville Slugger I13L model bat during the 2002 season. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and blue ink transfers present on the barrel. Pujols number “5” has been hand written in black marker on the knob end and the inside of the cupped barrel end. Pujols has signed his name in blue marker on the barrel and inscribed “ROY-01”. Please note that there is a slight streak through the lower part of the “A” and the bottom of the “P” in his signature. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13869) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10. There is also a LOA from JSA (Y06071) for his signature.
