Miami Marlins second baseman Dee Gordon wore this black Marlins batting helmet during Miami’s 4-3 victory over the New York Mets on September 6th, 2015 at Marlins Park. Gordon, leading off for the Marlins, finished the game 3-4 with a walk, run scored, and a stolen base. Gordon, an All-Star for the second straight year in 2015, won the 2015 National League batting crown with a .333 average. In addition to his batting title, Gordon led the Major Leagues in hits (205) and stolen bases (58) during the 2015 season.
This batting helmet is black, with a flap over the right ear and the Marlins logo applied to the front. Gordon’s number “9” and a MLB logo are applied to the back of the helmet. “7” is written on the inside of the helmet in silver marker, indicating its size. This helmet comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 669290).
