The fabulous illustration that graces this card reveals the legendary Ty Cobb in an aggressive batting pose. Few souls beheld this masterfully provocative photo at the time it was released by Plow's; only the modern medium of a high-end auction catalog allows widespread appreciation of this exceedingly rare piece, today. This rare commemorative is a superb jewel from the past; the relic's modest grade is derived from purely technical, non-aesthetic criteria. Touches of corner wear can be seen primarily from the reverse, and that generally clean, unprinted aspect concedes just two small, extremely faint traces of discoloration.
