Former Cleveland Indians slugger Edwin Encarnacion wore this navy button-down jersey during a home game against the Boston Red Sox on September 22nd, 2018. Encarnacion reached base twice via walk in this game, a 5-4 Cleveland victory. The game went 11 innings before Michael Brantley walked the Tribe off with an RBI single off Red Sox reliever Drew Pomeranz. Encarnacion had a typically excellent season in 2018, hitting over 30 home runs for his seventh consecutive season. The 14-year pro put together a Triple Crown slash of .246/32/107 to lead the Tribe to a 91-71 record and the American League Central Division title.
This button-down jersey has “Indians” sewn across the chest in red and white tackle twill. “ENCARNACION” and his number “10” are sewn on the back of the jersey in red and white tackle twill. His name is sewn over a matching navy nameplate. A Chief Wahoo patch and a Majestic logo are sewn on the left sleeve. The 2018 season was the last season in which the Indians used the Chief Wahoo logo. A Majestic size “50” tag is applied to the front left tail.
